About me

IMG_0249_edited_edited.jpg

Hola!

I am a design researcher and consultant from Chile. I hold a doctorate in Design, Technology, and Society from Koç University and a master's degree in Innovation and Design from Adolfo Ibáñez University. I also got my bachelor's degree in business engineering at the same University, which is located in my home country.

My professional profile is a hybrid between the knowledge in strategic management,  and business, acquired in business school; and the innovation and design skills developed with my graduate education regarding technology, qualitative research, design research, creativity, participatory and speculative design, and feminist HCI.

I have experience conducting research and projects related to education, migration, circular economy, and gender equality from a design and technology perspective, which I consider to be ways of reaching preferred situations. Additionally, I have experience working and living in intercultural contexts, which has allowed me to understand the influence of culture on social projects.

I work as independent consultant in the Global South on issues related to social inclusion, the SDGs, gender equality, and change-making with a design and innovation stance. I believe that everything in the world is designed, from policies and societies to products and services, so having this design perspective is key to creating a better world.

I left academia to have a greater impact on the world and I am currently interested in creating, designing, developing, supporting, and collaborating on innovation projects with a social impact. I research and participate in design and technology projects related to migration, social inclusion, and feminism and I promote participatory design and futures.
